Hi
The split grid is what I have been looking for. I copied and pasted your code into my app and I am getting and error that doesn't make sense "Definition SplitDataGridHeader cannot be found" & "Definition SplitDataGridItemRenderer could not be found". They are in the correct place any suggestions?

Hello,
I try to figure out how to adapt this code for AdvancedDataGrid.

After modifying the method itemToLabel adding a boolean paratmeter:

override public function itemToLabel(data:Object, withFormatting:Boolean=true):String

and replacing all the datagrid components (datagridcolumns...) by advanceddatagrid components (advanceddatagridcolumn ...), I still have an error on the method itemToLabel() in the class SplitDataGridChildColumn at this line :

return super.itemToLabel(data);

Actually the problem is the method calls itemToLabelWithoutFormatting method (of AdvancedDataGridColumn) with a columnNumber = NaN.

Help

Thanks

The demo looks really nice, I am seriously thinking about full version. But hey, what´s up with your blog? Did you move again?

Nicely done with the sorting of the columns. Could you give some pointers about how to go about creating an editable datagrid with split columns?

Thanks,
Mikael

Hi,
I have a question about column resizing.
Starting from your Demo datagrid,
if you set "grouping column" between the two "base column" and extend "median" subcolumn you get overlapping. How could I avoid overlapping?

Thanks,
Pietro
